Casa de les Punxes

The Casa de les  Punxes is one of the most emblematic buildings in Barcelona, crucial to understanding Catalan modernism. This great monument of Puig i Cadafalch stands in the center of the city, 5 min walk from La Pedrera and Palau Robert and only 10 min from Casa Batlló and the Sagrada Familia.

The house was built in 1905 on behalf of the Terradas family. The building opened to the public in 2016 in the form of a futuristic museum which offers a unique experience of Catalan modernism and the legend of Sant Jordi. The monumental house is an elegant and unique space with a magic touch inspired by Wagnerian castles. From the rooftop, you can enjoy an exclusive panoramic view of Barcelona and enter the six towers which characterize the building. Beyond the museum, live music events can be enjoyed.
