Orsay Museum
The Orsay Museum is a museum in Paris, housed in the former Gare d´Orsay, a railway station, and inaugurated for the 1.900 Universal Exposition.
It is an internationally renowned for its rich collection of Impressionist and post-Impressionist art and holds mainly French art from 1.848 to 1.914, including paintings, sculptures, furniture and photography. It holds great masterpieces by painters such as Monet, Renoir, Degas, Cezanne or Van Gogh.
The Orsay Museum is very enjoyable to discover and houses a very complete Impressionist art collection, this and the special location of the museum make it one of the top museums in Paris.
